Memorial Weekend is a fantastic time to visit and enjoy the Michilimackinac Memorial Pageant, parade and our Grand Fireworks. Located at Conkling Heritage Park at the Mackinaw Crossings, this annual Fourth of July Event shows off a huge fireworks display. Children of all ages can also enjoy games (held at the Marina lawn) from 1PM to 3PM. The Straits Area Concert Band will have a live performance at the Conkling Heritage Park from 9PM to dusk. Fireworks will begin at dusk.
A road trip up to Mackinaw City in the fall will prove to be colorful and fun for the entire family. During this busy weekend, guests can participate in the Fall Colors Bridge Run, enjoy Fort Fright Night on Friday and Saturday, along with Fireworks on Saturday at 9:30PM.
